ARTIST STATEMENT
The act of making art allows me to step into levels of consciousness that are different from the every day process. These deeper levels of awareness provide a sense of timelessness and access to an open more flowing state of mind.
I paint images that help my spirit to float; images, patterns and symbols that offer communication beyond language; images that point to answers that transcend my questions.
What does it mean to be part of the family of humanity, here and now?
How can I live in the world, reflect on the world and live in an openly conscious state?
How can I relate to the events of the world from a place of spiritual clarity?
My work is the portal that allows me to open to the spirit.
